In June Belen had her dance recital. They were bumble bees for ballet and good ship lollipop for tap. By the third night we actually saw some of the dance. Mostly they just were cute.

We've been swimming a few times.
We adopted a new cat. We compromised on Phoebe for a name. She is probably around a year old (she was abandoned with a litter of kittens).
So far she has been a good girl, very tolerant with the kids and semi-nice to Ella.
Belen started gymnastics in Roseville with her friend Ava.

This was a backyard production of The Little Red Hen with some of the preschool kids. Belen was the lazy fat cat.

Fourth of July.
I drove the kids to Iowa for Lynnae's bridal shower. Here's Oscar chilling with Grandpa in the morning.

Lynnae's shower was at a tea room. It was really fun, and we got a picture with Queen Elizabeth. :)
Back at the house Brandt's family and ours hung out and played Frisbee games.
While we were in Iowa, Garrett put this extension of our deck. It's not quite done yet due to him starting summer school and the rain. I will post final pictures later.
