October

Oscar is walking!! He started a few weeks ago and has been getting better ever since. He is pretty proud of himself.

He is also quite the climber, but fortunately he is getting better so we don't have to worry so much.

It has been a gorgeous October in the Midwest, which has meant more outdoor time.

The only thing Belen has said she wants for Christmas is a skateboard. Garrett has been teaching her.

Belen has also been into my shoes.

A couple weeks ago, we had a couple of Belen's preschool friends over for a smores party.

We also hit the Children's Museum.

This a snugly little guy. Almost daily I catch him in his room fishing this red blanket out of his crib, then he rolls all over it like a puppy.

My parents came up last weekend so we could go to Becky and Andy's wedding. Oscar started throwing up a few hours before they got here. Before the weekend was over, all of us were sick.

They did get to check out a pumpkin patch/ petting zoo.

By the time we got home everybody was getting sick. Here is Belen trying her first solids.

So this last week finally cooled way down. We were going to preschool one day and the temp was 37- so I busted out the new winter coats. We got to preschool and all the other kids were in jackets- one even in shorts. I guess I'm not fooling anyone as a native minnesotan. :)
