Okay- this is a long post just to warn you. We celebrated New Years and Belen's First Birthday in the last few weeks.
Here she is getting fired up for New Years Eve.
Our friends Ryan, Becky and Andy came over just in time to celebrate the Buenos Aires New Year at 8:00pm. Belen didn't react much to the all the counting and yelling.
For the toast she got to have her first juice box.... delicious.
On January 4th Grandma Sue, Aunt Tammi, Cousin Nate and Cousin Ella flew into town. Here is Nate and Belen playing before the birthday party on saturday.

Aunt Tammi was in charge of barrette duty since I am quite as good yet.

She started off slow with her cake, but once she got the idea she was liking it.

More gifts and after Christmas she is pretty good at opening.
After the party and naps we went to Chuckie Cheese.
Nate and I climbed into the tubes and he showed me how to work the race car.
Matching monkey PJs... we have been waiting to get this shot for a while.
Grandma Sue gave Belen her first trim before she left. She was starting to get a mulletish look.
She got a roller set after her cut. But when they came out her hair was still straight.
