North Carolina

We flew to North Carolina to check out Grandpa Tom and Grandma Sue's new house at the beginning of August. 

The night we got there, the kids checked out Grandpa's boat while waiting for the Obersteins to arrive.

We had a lot of water time while we were there- 2 pools, 2 beaches, a river and a water park! It was some good relief from the heat.

Oscar did not want to get out.

Here is the beach on Bear Island, complete with tide pool. The girls had fun watching the little fish and collecting shells.

We checked out the Golfin' Dolphin, where the kids and Garrett rode bumper boats.

The guys took the kids on a go-cart track. Belen and Todd smoked the rest of them.

Then we attempted mini golf.

Here was the water slide park. I wish I had a picture of the crazy tube slide Nate went on- it was a straight drop.

The kids playing in the yard before Todd, Tammi, Nate and Ella drove back to New Jersey. Oscar was walking around saying "I want to go to Jersey." The cousins had a ton of fun together! We had a great trip.
