Belen had her birthday party at Chuck E Cheese's. She had a few friends come (Skyler, Hunter and Izzy). They had a good time, even though not everyone loved Chuck E.

On her real birthday we went to MOA and saw Princess and the Frog and then went to Rainforest Cafe with Grandma and Grandpa and Auntie Lynnae.

Then we rushed to dance class and came home to open presents.

She has been playing with this singing Ariel card like it is her favorite gift.

Here she is practicing her balance in her new ice skates.

And then she went right into partner lifts.

It took a few days to knock this birthday back down a few notches. Can't you just see the sass?

As for Oscar, he is sitting up pretty well on his own now. He has rolled over a handful of times, but won't do it consistently. We recently had to do some work on a better sleep schedule. Over the last months the night waking got worse and worse and it wasn't all the traveling. We figured out that we were letting him nap too much during the day. So this week we've been working on that. He is a little over 5 months now- he loves being naked, tickled, and watching his sister pop in and out of his face. She can really make him laugh. It is fun watching him change. It has gone by even faster this time.

Hmmmm....that tie Oscar is wearing around his head looks familiar. I think it was mine (purchased straight out of the
70's).
Nothing wrong with a little recycling and aren't you glad now that I saved it, Ginelle?
